Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback on the Wallan 3756 Project – Help Shape Our Future consultation.

Community and stakeholder input has now been collected, with consultation closing on 7 November 2025.

What we heard

We received feedback through:

  • Online survey
  • Interactive mapping
  • Drop‑in and Walk ’n’ Talk sessions
  • Emails and written submissions
  • Community Liaison Group expressions of interest

Your insights will help shape the draft Wallan Structure Plan, Neighbourhood Character Study, and Infrastructure Framework.

What happens next

The project team will now:

  • Review all community and stakeholder feedback
  • Prepare a draft Wallan Structure Plan
  • Develop the Neighbourhood Character Study
  • Prepare the Infrastructure Framework

These documents will guide future development and investment in Wallan.

A further round of community engagement will take place once the draft documents are ready for community review.

    About the Group

    • 12–14 members (Councillors, Council officers, community members)

    • Advise on the Wallan 3756 Project

    • Provide input into the future vision for Wallan and help inform the preparation of the Wallan Structure Plan

    Who should apply?
    Anyone who cares about Wallan’s future or has local knowledge to share.
