'We are Beveridge' Community Art Project
Be part of ‘We Are Beveridge’ – a community art project celebrating the people who make Beveridge a great place to live!
We are looking for stories about our local champions – the people whose actions make our community shine. Together, we’ll turn your stories and ideas into Art Poles for the garden at Greater Beveridge Community Centre.
Got a favourite memory, person or place in Beveridge? That’s the kind of story we’d love to hear!
Share stories about the people you admire in Beveridge – the quiet achievers, local champions and everyday legends. They might shine in areas like:
Arts and culture – from dancers to makers
Sport – whether it’s martial arts, netball or something else
Honouring women – or challenging gender inequity
Seniors – leading and inspiring in the community
Faith and culture – building bridges across religious or multicultural groups
Young people – making their mark in fresh ways
Caring for the environment – sustainability champions
Volunteering – giving back in any other way
Or you might like to describe your favourite place or an event that happened in your hood
