Statutory Planning

Consultation has concluded

The Statutory Planning Department at Mitchell Shire Council is responsible for approving planning permits, providing planning advice and planning compliance.

The Statutory Planning Team is eager to meet with people to discuss the department’s continuing progress and action plan for improving planning services. Forums were held in December 2015 for residents to share their perceptions and experiences of working with the Statutory Planning Team. More than 30 initiatives were identified and circulated back to attendees in February 2016.

The team is committed to ensuring that the standard of service and customer experience is as high as possible.
