About Seymour Community Wellbeing Hub Project
The Seymour Community Wellbeing Hub will deliver a range of community, learning, and health and wellbeing spaces – right in the heart of Seymour.
The project has been designed to be delivered in multiple stages to support future growth and service expansion.
What's included in stage 1?
Stage 1 is a $17 million, two-story facility. It is expected to open in early 2027 and will include:
- a new library and community learning spaces
- multipurpose community meeting spaces for activities and events
- a cafe
- a health hub, including clinical and nonclinical consulting spaces as well as a shared workspace for health service providers
- landscaped outdoor spaces
What programs and services can I expect at the Hub?
The Hub will provide:
- events, programs and activities run by Council for the benefit of the community
- a suite of health services specifically curated to meet the needs of the Seymour community including veterans health, mental health, preventative health and primary health
- spaces for hire by the community for events, programs and activities
We consulted with the community in June and July 2024, read the summary of feedback here
How the Community Feedback from June and July 2024 has been used
Council has provided this community feedback to the consultant team for incorporation of as much as is feasible into the next phase of design.
We want to hear from you
To ensure the Hub offers services and programs that truly reflect local needs, we’re actively seeking your input. Whether it’s health services, learning opportunities, events, or other community programs, your ideas and insights matter. What would you like to see at the Hub? What services would make a real difference to you, your family, or your community?
Your feedback will help shape the next stage of service planning.
