NEW LOCATION FOR SEYMOUR RESOURCE RECOVERY CENTRE

We're making some changes at Seymour Resource Recovery Centre so we can bring you a new and better service in 2020.

In the meantime, there'll be some changes to the service.

A new temporary site - new location and changed hours

  • The current Hume and Hovell site will close permanently from 16 July onwards
  • A temporary site at Mitchell Landfill in Hilldene will open from 23 July (see map below for location)
  • The temporary Hilldene site will have limited days and hours. However, we've added an extra three days to Broadford

A new permanent centre - input wanted

We're also making plans for a new permanent site at Hilldene.

We're after your ideas about the services you'd like to see at the new centre.

We'll be holding some drop in sessions at Chittick Park Community Place on:

  • Thursday 19 July, 4.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Saturday 21 July, 10am to 1.30pm
