Ryans Creek Reserve - Pump Track

Consultation has now concluded, thank you for your feedback.

Ryans Creek Reserve is a key recreational space for the Kilmore community, and we're excited to invite you to share your thoughts on the next phase of its transformation.

Following the completion of Stage 1 in late 2020, which introduced a large play space, pathways, solar lighting, and more, we are now preparing for Stage 2 to further enhance the northern section of the Reserve.

The $1.1 million project is made possible thanks to $900,000 from the Victorian Government and $200,000 from Council.

What’s Planned for Stage 2?

The second stage will focus on improving connectivity across the Reserve and activating the northern area through several important additions:

  • Accessible unisex toilet block (near existing play space and BBQ)

  • Reserve car parking (Pauline Way and Parkview Drive)

  • Pedestrian bridge and crossing

  • New linking pathways with solar lighting

  • Plantings and seating areas

  • Outdoor Fitness Equipment Station

  • Soccer goals and kickabout area

  • Pump Track – a new facility designed for riders of all ages and skill levels

How you can get involved

We are keen to hear your thoughts on the design and features of the proposed pump track. Your feedback on the pump track will help shape the final design and ensure it meets the needs of our community. You can view the draft concept image here.

In-person: Wednesday 13 November from 4.30pm to 5pm at Ryans Creek Reserve (opposite the intersection of Jack William Way and Firbank Place)

Online survey: Fill out the short survey by Wednesday 4 December 2024.

What happens next?

The first phase of construction will begin with the installation of the accessible unisex toilets in November, with other elements, including the pump track, set to commence next year.
