Ryans Creek Reserve stage 2

Consultation has concluded. For more information on this project please contact Council's Recreation and Open Space team on 03 5734 6200.

WHAT'S PLANNED

Ryans Creek Reserve is a large linear park in western Kilmore. A stage 1 development was completed at Ryans Creek Reserve in late 2020 to activate this previously undeveloped site. Stage 1 primarily focused on elements at the southern end of the site including a large play space, shelter, seating, BBQ, drinking fountain, half-court basketball area, pathways, solar lighting and plantings.

The intention stage 2 is to improve linkages across the park and activate the northern section of Ryans Creek Reserve. The project will achieve this through a range of key components including:

  • Accessible unisex toilet block (near existing play space and BBQ)
  • Reserve car parking (Two locations - Pauline Way and Parkview Drive)
  • Pedestrian bridge and crossing
  • Linking pathways and solar lighting
  • Plantings and seating
  • Outdoor Fitness Equipment Station
  • Youth space
  • Pump track
