Road Management Plan review
Consultation has concluded. For more information on this project, please contact us on 5734 6200.
We're making some changes to the Road Management Plan which is used to set service standards for the maintenance of our local roads and footpaths.
The plan is used to outline:
- the way we manage our roads and footpaths across the municipality
- how often assets will be inspected or reviewed
- what service standards are used to determine when we will carry out work.
These standards are set to help us meet legislative requirements like safety standards, available budget and general maintenance.
The updated plan helps ensure these requirements reflect current legislative requirements. It also provides an opportunity to update service standards based on current resources available for maintenance and upgrades.
We've made some improvements to our service levels across most categories in this plan with updated intervention levels and response timeframes.
We are unable to make any changes to the legislative requirements, but we are seeking input on the new time frames and intervention levels.
