Good News. Work is starting soon on this project.

The Pyalong Social Family Recreation Space will include:

  • play equipment
  • nature play elements
  • seating
  • pathways
  • fencing
  • tree plantings and
  • a half-court basketball area.

This will add to existing toilets, seating, shade and parking.

Following conversations with various community groups in Pyalong, the concept design has been finalised and we're ready to start work.

WHY IS IT NEEDED?

There are currently limited recreation opportunities and facilities in Pyalong for the local community to access, particularly in the town centre. This project will increase recreation opportunities and encourage people to visit Pyalong due to the close proximity to shops and other community facilities.
