Are you a Beveridge local and keen to help shape local community life?

We're seeking Expressions of Interest from local residents for the Greater Beveridge Community Centre Community Advisory Group.

The Greater Beveridge Community Centre, on the corner of Lithgow Street and Mandalay Circuit, is a Mitchell Shire Council facility. It currently houses the Beveridge Micro Library, Maternal Child Health Service, Immunisation Service and TRY Australia's 3 and 4 year old kindergarten.

The vision for the facility is for a vibrant, multi-purpose community space that is also home to a range of social activities, special interest groups and learning programs.

This group will play an integral role in achieving this vision through identifying, developing and promoting programming that caters to all life stages in the community.

JOINING IS FREE AND AS A GROUP MEMBER YOU WILL:

  • Be invited to attend regular group meetings
  • Contribute programming and activity ideas
  • Support promotion of the centre and its programming via your community networks
