Budget and Capital Works 2022/23

Consultation has concluded. The budget has been adopted and can be viewed on our website.

As we prepare our 2022/23 budget, we’re inviting submissions on our overall financial direction and our four-year capital works program.

In the last year, we've received some really good input from our community on our plans, strategies, the new Mitchell 2050 Community Vision, and what projects you would like to see happening around Mitchell Shire.

This information has been reviewed and a four-year capital works project pipeline developed.

So, rather than releasing a draft one-year operating and capital budget for input, we’re inviting submissions on our overall financial direction and our four-year capital works program.

This is an exciting change that we hope provides an opportunity for people to provide input well beyond the annual budget cycle. We're also excited to be able to share a four-year capital works program for the first time.

  • Make a submission if you'd like to see any changes to our capital works pipeline or provide feedback on our overall financial direction.

You can also suggest particular projects throughout the year on our main website. We also encourage people to get involved in shaping the plans and strategies we seek input on during the year. These help shape our annual budget, capital works program and longer-term financial and asset plans.
