The final draft of the Anzac Avenue, Seymour – Streetscape Master Plan is now available for review. The master plan has been developed based on feedback from the community and key stakeholders in May 2023. We would like to thank those that provided feedback in person and online, we spoke to over 160 people and received 130 responses.

Key components of the master plan include:

  • Reinstating the Avenue of Honour
  • Keeping four lanes from Goulburn Street to Delatite Road to accomodate through traffic and heavy vehicles
  • Creating space to reinstate the Avenue of Honour and connecting a bike path from Anzac Avenue to Tallarook Street via the rail bridge.
  • Improving safety at intersections of Goulburn Street, Oak Street, Delatite Road, and Kobyboyn Road.
  • Adding off-road shared paths along Anzac Avenue, with possible raised crossings on side streets.
  • Enhancing public areas at Chittick Place, Anzac Village, and Kobyboyn Road
