How do I make a submission?

Any person who may be affected by Amendment C123 may make a submission to Council. Please be aware that any submissions received is a public document and may be made available for viewing by members of the public. The closing date for submissions in 17 November 2017. All submissions must be in writing and sent to:

What Happens if I Make a Submission?

All submissions are required to be formally considered by Council. In the event that submitter concerns cannot be resolved by Council officers, Council may refer submissions to an Independent Planning Panel for consideration. The Planning Panel is appointed by the Minister for Planning and will include a public hearing where all submitters can be heard. The Planning Panel will review each submission individually and provide recommendations to Council and the Minister for Planning.

Dates for the Panel Hearings have been set as follows:
  • Directions Hearing: Week commencing 9 April 2018
  • Panel Hearing: Week commencing 30 April 2018
If a Panel Hearing is required, further details regarding hearing procedure and specific dates will be provided to all submitters prior to the hearing.
