Consultation has concluded
Wallan is a town going through a significant period of growth.
To support this growth, there a number of exciting projects underway to ensure that the needs of both current and future residents are met, and Wallan remains a modern, vibrant country town.

The Wallan Town Centre Masterplan and Urban Design Framework was adopted by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 19 September 2016.
Implementation of the Wallan Town Centre Plan and Urban Design Framework will now start by way of a Planning Scheme Amendment that will adopt the Town Centre Plan and Urban Design Framework into the Mitchell Planning Scheme as a reference document.
The project team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who got involved with the project, whether online, in person, or by post/ e-mail.

Endorsed Wallan Structure Plan
The Wallan Structure Plan was unanimously endorsed at the Council meeting on 14 December 2015.Implementation of the structure plan will now start by way of a Planning Scheme Amendment that will adopt the structure plan into the Mitchell Planning Scheme as a reference document.The project team would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who got involved with the project, whether online, in person, or by post/ e-mail.The endorsed structure plan can be viewed here
