To reduce confusion, Council proposes to re-name a section of Minton Street, between Malcolm Street and the Hume Freeway.

It is also important that emergency services can readily identify and access a property. The current situation opens up the possibility that emergency vehicles may be delayed by entering the wrong section of Minton Street.

Subdivision applications

Recent applications for planning permits for subdivisions along Cameron's Lane/Minton Street have prompted the need to review the addressing. This will allow the proposed subdivision in the area to be adequately addressed.
