Pyalong school bus shelter

Consultation has concluded

As a small, rural township, Pyalong does not have a local secondary school, resulting in students travelling some distance to a range of secondary schools via various bus transit routes. In addition, there is a smaller number of local residents whose primary school-aged students also attend schools outside of the township.

Mitchell Shire Council has worked closely with the local school bus service to identify a preferred single bus stop and shelter location in Pyalong to streamline the stopping of buses to a single point.

The preferred location in High Street, near the Pyalong Town Centre Park, has been identified as meeting the needs of the four school bus routes servicing Pyalong.

View the location of the proposed bus stop.

Before formalising this location for a bus stop, Council would like input from the community.

This $30,000 project will be funded by Council.
