We've released our draft Public Transparency Policy for community feedback.
Under section 57 of the Local Government Act 2020 we must adopt and maintain a public transparency document,
This policy formalises our commitment to transparent decision-making processes and public access to Council information.
The policy includes:
- increased community confidence and trust in Council through greater understanding and awareness
- improved Council visibility and performance
- and access to information that is current and easily accessible.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?
