About the project

The Department of Justice is calling for funding applications for projects that meet the following criteria:

• streetscape and amenity improvements in public areas designed to minimise the risk of crime and support safe behaviour
• vandal-resistant lighting systems and other physical security or safety measures
• physical elements of public place Closed Circuit Television systems (CCTV).

Grants between $20,000 and $250,000 (GST excl) are available.

Community input will be used to help prepare an application for these grants.
