How will we report back?
We will publish a summary of feedback and next steps on Engaging Mitchell after consultation closes and the feedback has been reviewed.
When would proposed new hours start?
Subject to approval, the revised hours are proposed to commence as a 12-month trial from February 2027.
Why is Council reviewing the hours?
The aim is to better align opening hours with when people use libraries, improve access for workers, commuters and families, and provide a more predictable weekend service within available resources.
