We've released our Draft Governance Rules for community feedback.
We're required to develop, adopt and maintain Governance Rules in accordance with section 60 of the Local Government Act 2020 (the Act).
These Rules outline the type of conduct expected at Council meetings and at meetings of delegated committees. It also covers the procedure of electing a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and appointment of an Acting Mayor.
It also outlines new regulations for Council's Election Period Policy and conflict of interest procedures for Councillors, Council staff and members of a delegated committee organised by Mitchell Shire.
Provide a hard copy submission * Our Customer and Library Service Centres are currently closed. If you would like us to mail you a hard copy, or you are unable to print, please call us on 5734 6200
