We're hosting a drop-in session at the park on Thursday 15 September 5pm to 6pm. Come along to ask questions and find out more about the project.
Funding
This project is planned in conjunction with two other projects: Graham Reserve Improvements and Heywood Hill Reserve Improvements.
Design of all parks and construction of the Graham Reserve Improvements has been funded in Council’s capital works budget for 2022-2023. Graham Reserve works will occur in the first half of 2023.
Council has applied for funding through the Victorian Government's Local Sports and Infrastructure Grant Program to construct Heywood Hill and Generation Park Improvements. The successful applicants for the funding will be announced in October 2022. If Council’s applications are successful, these upgrades will occur in 2023. If we do not receive this external funding, Council will consider funding through the Capital Works Program in future financial years.
