Environment Advisory Committee 2024

Mitchell Shire Council is calling for 12 community representatives to become members of the Environment Advisory Committee.
We're looking for people who:
- are interested in the local environment
- have a background in environment and sustainability
- are keen to contribute to environment and sustainability issues in Mitchell.
The committee provides a valuable opportunity to harness the community's knowledge, experience and skills to provide advice to Council on environmental sustainability and management issues and initiatives in the municipality.
Representatives will be appointed for 2 years from April 2024. Meetings are held every two months, with the occasional special meeting in between, for more information about what's involved see the 'About the Committee' information below.
