We're developing a plan to manage the Colin Officer Flora Reserve in Broadford, and we'd love to hear from you!
We want to know what you like about the reserve, how you use it, and any ideas you have for its future.
The reserve, next to the Broadford Golf Course, is a special 13.7-hectare area with important environmental, social, and cultural values. It's home to a variety of orchids, wildflowers, and more than 100 native bird species and rare and threatened species such as the Golden Sun Moth and Gang Gang cockatoo.
In 2012, Mitchell Shire Council set up a conservation convenant agreement to help protect the reserve's natural beauty and this plan will help achieve that.
