The Colin Officer Flora reserve, next to the Broadford Golf Course, is a special 13.7-hectare area with important environmental, social, and cultural values. It's home to a variety of orchids, wildflowers, and more than 100 native bird species and rare and threatened species such as the Golden Sun Moth and Gang Gang cockatoo.

Following community and stakeholder engagement, the Draft Colin Officer Flora Reserve Management Plan is now available for public consultation.

  • Following community engagement, Mitchell Shire Council has released the Colin Officer Flora Reserve Draft Management Plan and is encouraging community members to provide feedback.

    The best way to give us your feedback is by written submission. This feedback form has been provided to assist in preparing a written submission. 

    A number of questions are included to prompt your thoughts and opinions, but you are encouraged to comment on any aspect of the Draft Management Plan . 

    All submissions will be considered prior to finalising the Colin Officer Flora Reserve Management Plan
