Broadford Community Garden: Public Meeting
Consultation has concluded
Anyone who is interested in assisting with the re-establishment of the Community Garden located behind the Broadford Living and Learning Centre is encouraged to head along to a public meeting on Tuesday 26 March.
This area is approximately 8 acres in size and has basic infrastructure in place.
The Garden was once a thriving community space, and we are keen to restore it to its former glory. We also have a vision to continue to develop this area and embrace the opportunity to develop this area for the community.
If you are interested in being a part of this project, we invite you to attend the public meeting:
- WHEN: Tuesday 26 March
- WHERE: Broadford Living and Learning Centre
- TIME: 7.30pm
- RSVP: bllc@mitchellshire.vic.gov.au OR 5784 4006, by Monday 25 March for catering purposes.
A light supper will be provided)
This is an exciting opportunity for your involvement. We need the community’s help in a variety of ways to help re-establish this garden area.
We acknowledge the hard work that has been put into this space in the past and hope we can work together as a community to bring it back to life.
This initial meeting is to hear what you want, what expertise and experience you have and begin to put plans into place. Therefore, we need any interested community members to come along to the meeting to have their say.
