Safety

The creek is prone to flooding which is a safety risk. The new playground and picnic area will be located a safe distance from the creek and flood prone area.

Parts of the reserve away from streets and houses feel isolated and may be unsafe at night due to lack of lighting. The design maintains sight lines and provides solar lighting to the southern area of the park where the picnic and play facilities will be located.
