Following community input last year, we've developed a new draft Domestic Animal Management Plan and we want you to take a look and let us know what you think.

The four-year plan covers pound improvements, desexing, possible curfews and off-leash and on-leash areas. It also has recommendations to increase the number of registered and microchipped animals and to reduce the number of dogs wandering at large.

To help roll out the plan once it is finalised, Council is also looking to form a Domestic Animal Management Plan Consultative Committee.

Submissions on the draft plan and expressions of interest for the Consultative Committee must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 23 May 2018.
