PLANNING APPLICATION PLP012/17, PLP013/17

The proposal comprises of multiple planning permit applications to include the establishment of a convention retreat facility (convention centre) and to host a twice a year convention event.

This proposal includes the removal of native vegetation, alteration of access to a Road Zone – Category 1 (VicRoads road), creation of an easement, construction of individual accommodation units and multi-purpose building and construction of car parking.

The application is seeking to establish the site with the accommodation facilities to enable the use of the land for a convention retreat on an ongoing basis with a total capacity of 400 guests.

The proposed annual events (place of assembly) are to facilitate up to 1000 patrons and take place over 4 days during Easter and 7 days during Christmas including camping and caravan facilities.

A third application has been applied for in relation to a creation of an easement.
